Whether the medium is clay, paint or pixels does not matter. I
make art because I crave the creative moment, that split-second
when my work breaches the barrier between the abstract and the

Puttonen is the great-grandson of Finnish and Polish
immigrants. He uses both digital and traditional tools and
materials to created his images. He works in his studio near
the Bishop Arts District. |
