Since boyhood, Larry has been interested in the expressive arts in multiple different media. Rooted in classical technique, where such technique exists, he utilizes traditional concepts and materials, melding them with modern and innovative materials and techniques to create fresh, invigorating, and often colorful, work.
He is particularly drawn to natural forms and deep evocative textures, whether he is creating in Glass, sterling silver or wood. Always evolving and innovating, Larry combines elements, materials and techniques from a variety of creative/artistic areas.
Larry participates in a large number of art-related gallery and outdoor art shows, has commissioned work in a large number of national and international collections and teaches art glass and jewelry both in his Kessler Park Studio, as well as at other art and glass education organizations.
